If you are in the midst of a divorce or separation and you live in Rhode Island, consider an alternative, non-adversarial approach that will allow you to discuss and negotiate your own settlement agreement, and save money.
At MOUTHPEACE MEDIATION LLC, our co-mediation style provides our clients with a broader perspective of the issues and possible solutions for resolving their conflicts. As a male-female team experienced with the issues of divorce, we are unique in that we offer expertise as well as gender balance.
Using mediation usually results in a quicker divorce, a more amicable divorce, and a less costly divorce.
Divorce mediation is not a substitute for independent legal advice. Once the mediation process is complete, you may file your divorce pro se (by yourself, without an attorney) or ask an attorney to draw up the final agreement to be submitted to the court.
Our services are available days, evenings and weekends in the Rhode Island area. Our hours are flexible and mediation sessions are arranged to best meet your needs.
