Parenting plans are an important focus at Mouthpeace Mediatoion.  
 

If you are separating or divorcing, and you have children, a parenting plan is critical to the process.  Parents are well aware of the negative impacts of divorcing on their children. 

 

We find that parents who use mediation to create a parenting plan leave not only with an effective plan for a smoother transition for their children, but very often develop critical communication skills with each other. The children are the beneficiaries of this better communication.​

While most parents who create parenting plans are separating or divorcing, parenting plans can also be used by parents who have already divorced or are committed to their marriage but are struggling to parent effectively as a team. Parents may be using therapy to talk about their parenting issues, and would find value in creating a cohesive, comprehensive plan for parenting that helps them to stay on track.
